Meals

On your day of arrival, we suggest that you dine in for lunch and dinner and leave the menu to our amazing chef, Luvia.  If you have specific requests or dietary needs, Chef Luvia is happy to accommodate.  Additionally, if you are particular to certain wines and spirits, let the team know in advance and we will have them ready for your arrival.  We can also send out for whatever you like during your stay.    

 

Breakfast can be served anytime and is usually made to order as guests wake. We start each morning with local fruits and coffee con crema.  The Chef offers a “special” each morning along with the house favorites which include Huevos Mexicana, Chilaquiles and Luvia’s famous Huevos Ranchera.  Some of our guests like to start with Luvia’s amazing pancakes for the table!  If you prefer, you may ring the kitchen for coffee and/or meal service in your room. 

 

Each morning, the house manager will offer suggestions for that evening’s dinner for your approval.  Try to sneak a peak of Chef Luvia preparing her famous tamales, which are highly recommended! 

 

Lunch is generally prepared as a casual, poolside buffet so as not to disrupt your lounging or sunbathing.

 

The main dining tables are pretty spectacular at both Casa and Playa and offer incredible views of the Pacific.  For smaller groups, feel free to mix it up and enjoy dinner in the Cantina one night or on the deck overlooking the bay another night.    Let the team know in advance and they’ll set-up your dining experience however you like.

 

If you are in the mood to venture into town to sample some of our local flavors for lunch or dinner, the house manager, Alonso, will be happy to make your reservation.
